“You Want to See a Horror Show?”: Trump Warns of Missiles Hitting San Diego or LA If Iran Goes Nuclear
President Donald Trump issued a stark warning Wednesday about the catastrophic consequences of Iranian aggression against the United States, emphasizing the need to defend American cities against potential missile attacks. Speaking in San Antonio, Texas, Trump painted a vivid picture of the devastation that could unfold if Tehran were to obtain a nuclear weapon. “You want to see problems—and I said it the other day—let them hit a missile into San Diego or Los Angeles on the way. Let them hit—you want to see a horror show?” Trump said. “You want to see problems, let them hit San Diego, let them hit Los Angeles, and you want to see some bad things happen.” The president’s remarks underscore the high stakes of the ongoing conflict with Iran and his administration’s determination to prevent Tehran from acquiring nuclear capabilities.
“You want to see a country that would be in freefall,” Trump continued, asserting that Tehran would not hesitate to use nuclear weapons if it had them. “We’re not going to let that happen. We protect our cities. We protect our country. We’re not letting that happen. And they’d use it, too. They’d use it. They would use it.” The president’s warning comes amid escalating tensions over the Strait of Hormuz and ongoing U.S. military operations against Iranian targets. As the conflict enters its seventh month, Trump has consistently maintained that preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon is a paramount national security priority, and his latest comments serve as a sobering reminder of what is at stake in the ongoing standoff.
