Gospel Legend Lisa Page Brooks Returns with Powerful New Single “Hand on Me”
Gospel powerhouse and singer-songwriter Lisa Page Brooks has returned to the music scene with her new single, “Hand on Me,” her first release since signing with mega-producer Warryn Campbell and his My Block Inc. record label earlier this year. The song was written and produced by Warryn Campbell and Eric Dawkins. “This song is an expression of my journey in recent years. Though faced with many challenges, I realize that the resilience that I possess and the strength that I have received is only because God’s hand was on me,” shares Brooks. “I am so grateful for the opportunity once again to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ to the masses through music. I was created for this.” The single marks a powerful new chapter for the gospel legend, whose career has spanned nearly four decades and countless beloved projects.
Lisa Page Brooks is a Gospel music legend who has been blessing souls around the globe since the late 1980s. She started her music career in 1986 when her late husband, Bishop Michael A. During her tenure with Witness, she contributed to 11 projects with Billboard-charting singles such as “Standard” and “A Song in the Night,” which landed at No. 2 on the Billboard charts. In 1997, she recorded her first solo studio album, More Than You’ll Ever Know, and has since mastered five solo endeavors while working on her sixth. She has been nominated for two Grammy Awards, a Soul Train Music Award, and a Dove Award, and is a Stellar Award winner.
