Home for the Holidays: Matthew West Announces ‘Come Home for Christmas’ Tour and New Album
Two-time NSAI Songwriter-Artist of the Year and award-winning hitmaker Matthew West is set to ring in the holiday season with his Come Home for Christmas Live on Tour, an eight-city run kicking off December 10 in Asheville, N.C. The tour will pair beloved Christmas classics with music that points audiences back to the true reason for the season, offering an invitation to come home to the heart of Christmas. Presale tickets go on sale September 1, with general onsale beginning September 3 at 10 a.m. local time. “More than a concert, the Come Home for Christmas Tour has become an annual invitation for all of us to come home to the true meaning of the season,” West shares. “My hope is that these nights will become special Christmas memories that fill our hearts with joy while pointing us back to the true reason we celebrate the birth of Jesus, our Savior.”
The tour follows West’s fifth annual Come Home for Christmas weekend in Franklin, Tenn., taking place December 3-6, which continues to draw fans from across the country for a special time of music, worship, and community. Before the holiday run, West will embark on his 17-stop Jesus Is King Tour, kicking off September 10 in Austin, bringing his forthcoming 14th studio album, Jesus Is King—due September 25—to audiences nationwide. On the album, West explores the question at the heart of modern life: Who is Jesus, really? Across 12 tracks, the project wrestles with themes of control, uncertainty, redemption, and faith, all while returning to the truth at its center: God is in control. With a busy fall and holiday season ahead, West continues to invite listeners into moments of worship, reflection, and celebration.
