Trump Vows ‘Major Attack’ on Iran Tonight, Says U.S. Has ‘Knocked Out’ Tehran’s Military

President Donald Trump has defended the latest U.S. military strikes against Iran, stating that Tehran’s military capabilities have been severely weakened and warning that another “major attack” is coming. On Monday, Trump told reporters that U.S. forces have “knocked out” Iran’s navy, air force, missile capabilities, and drone manufacturing . He argued the strikes were necessary to prevent Tehran from obtaining a nuclear weapon, adding, “If we didn’t do it, they would have had a nuclear weapon. If they had a nuclear weapon, Israel would no longer be with us.”

“We’re going to hit them very hard tonight, and we’re going to hit them hard tomorrow,” Trump told radio host Hugh Hewitt, stating that Iran “has nothing” to stop the attacks . He also raised the possibility of striking an underground Iranian nuclear facility known as Pickaxe Mountain, calling it “a possible target for a nice big fat shot right near the front door” . The U.S. has also reimposed a blockade on Iranian ports, with Trump declaring the U.S. the “guardian of the Strait” and proposing a 20% fee on all cargo shipped through the strategic waterway.
Meanwhile, U.S. Central Command confirmed it carried out a new wave of strikes on Monday, hitting targets including Bushehr, Chah Bahar, and Bandar Abbas . The five-hour mission used precision munitions against Iranian coastal defense systems, missile and drone sites, and maritime capabilities . In response, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed strikes on U.S. military installations in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman . More than 50,000 U.S. service members remain deployed across the Middle East, as the military says American forces remain “vigilant, lethal, and ready.”
