In a recent interview with NFL Network during training camp, Stroud opened up about the central role his faith in Jesus plays in his life, declaring, “For us, it’s faith in Jesus, and you know He’s our rock, He’s our why.” The quarterback, who has led the Texans to the playoffs in each of his first three seasons and won at least one postseason game each year, emphasized that his identity is not defined by his athletic achievements but by his relationship with Christ. “Before anybody ever knew me, He knew me. He knitted me in my mother’s womb, just like everybody here. And so we just give Him all the glory and all the praise before we even do anything – and while we’re doing it as well,” Stroud shared.
