Members of Friendship Baptist Church (FBC) in Lawton, Oklahoma, celebrated a profoundly blessed outreach event last weekend, as dozens of individuals surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ during the church’s monthly food distribution. Tammi Whittman, church administrator, told The Christian Post that volunteers “prayed for 73 people and 35 accepted Christ,” describing the day as “a phenomenally blessed day of service.” The event also saw a remarkable increase in attendance, with over 300 people served—a significant jump from the 200 to 225 individuals typically reached each month. “We hope to continue reaching those in need by inviting them to get to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,” Whittman added.
