Answering Heaven’s Invitation: Royal Increase Music Revives ‘The Call’ for a Global Church Awakening

81views

Royal Increase Music has reignited a long-shelved anthem with the re-release of “The Call,” now available on all major streaming platforms and radio airplay. Originally written in early 2020 at a UK songwriting retreat hosted by members of the Relational Mission New Frontiers family of churches, the song was born from a moment of shared worship and prophetic creativity. Penned by Naomi Day, Ollie Knight, and Regina Vandereijk, with additional lyrics from Chris Haines and Jordan Woodley, “The Call” was initially intended to debut at The Call conference—a landmark event cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For years, this song remained a hidden ember of hope; now, Royal Increase Music has breathed fresh life into it, unveiling a bold anthem written to awaken and equip the global Church at a time of renewed spiritual hunger.

Royal Increase Re-Releases 'The Call,' An Anthem for a Church Ready to Rise

Revived under the seasoned production of UK veteran Trevor Michael (Delirious, Ian Yates, 7Core), “The Call” brings together a diverse, international collective of worshippers—including members of Insalvation (Hanjo Fisser, Tanja van Schuylenburg, Andy Stuijfzand), American songwriter Regina Vandereijk, British artist Naomi Day, and musicians from Vandereijk’s home church in Gouda, NL. Lyrically rooted in Mark 16, John 7, and Revelation 22, the song issues a simple yet urgent invitation: to know Christ, to be known by Him, and to make Him known. “We believe His prophetic message in the song will stir both individuals and church leaders to respond to Jesus’ commission,” the collective shares. Released in September 2025—a moment they believe aligns with a new spiritual awakening—“The Call” stands not just as a song but as a summons for believers everywhere to step into a renewed era of mission and discipleship.
