Bryan Andrew Wilson Spreads Holiday Cheer with Long-Awaited Album, Jingle Jams

After years in the making, Bryan Andrew Wilson, the powerhouse vocalist and gospel music trailblazer, has finally unwrapped his long-awaited holiday album, Jingle Jams. Filled with heart, soul, and an eclectic mix of styles, the album is now available on all digital platforms. Wilson humorously calls it his “incomplete Christmas album,” as many tracks were started years ago amidst personal challenges, including the loss of his mother and spiritual mentor, Duranice Pace. Despite these trials, Jingle Jams radiates joy, hope, and a celebration of the true meaning of Christmas.

The album showcases Wilson’s unmatched versatility. From the soulful slow jam “The Best Gift”, co-written with hitmaker Darryl Pearson, to the Chicago-stepper groove of “Jingle Bell Swing” produced by Judah Sealy, and a Motown-inspired cover of Smokey Robinson’s “Christmas Everyday”, the first half of the project feels like a festive blend of nostalgia and innovation. The second half takes listeners to church, with the majestic “Greatest Gift of All” featuring Roderick Giles & Grace and Yoed Nir, and the jazzy New Orleans-flavored “The Savior Has Come” with the Grammy®-winning Rebirth Brass Band. The album wraps with the funky, James Brown-inspired “He Brought Joy”, leaving listeners uplifted and craving more. Wilson plans to reintroduce Jingle Jams as a complete album in 2025 with five additional tracks, promising even more holiday magic.

Celebrating 30 years since his unforgettable debut with the Mississippi Children’s Choir, Wilson’s legacy continues to shine.
