A Cry of Intimacy: McJeszy’s “Rabbōni” Invites Listeners into Deeper Worship
Gospel singer Jessica Joshua, popularly known as McJeszy, has unveiled her latest worship single, “Rabbōni,” a deeply personal expression of devotion that invites listeners into a deeper place of fellowship, intimacy, and surrender to God. The title, which means “Master” or “Teacher” in Aramaic—the same word Mary Magdalene used when she recognized the risen Christ—carries the weight of a soul that has encountered Jesus and can do nothing but worship. As a worshipper with a strong passion for evangelical and prophetic worship, McJeszy uses her musical ministry to create an atmosphere where hearts can encounter God through sincere worship, and “Rabbōni” is a beautiful addition to her growing catalogue of songs and spontaneous worship ministrations.
Known for her service in the worship ministry, McJeszy currently serves as the Music Director of RCCG The Envoys, Victoria Island, also known as The Living Waters Worship, and is a member of the National Youth Worship Team of RCCG. Her latest release continues a journey that includes songs such as “The Lion,” featuring P. Daniel Olawande and Nifemi Olawande, “Hallelujah,” featuring Pastor Onyeka Ogwu of Canada, and “Big Big God.” Through these expressions, Jessica Joshua continues to demonstrate her passion for worship and her commitment to using music to glorify Jesus Christ.
