“SIMPLY NOT TRUE”: INTERIM AG BLANCHE DESTROYS BONDI FIRING RUMORS, INSISTS EPSTEIN FILES NOT THE REASON FOR SHAKEUP

WASHINGTON, D.C. – In a fiery and unequivocal rebuttal that sent shockwaves through political circles, U.S. Interim Attorney General Todd Blanche has flatly denied mounting speculation that former Attorney General Pam Bondi was fired by President Donald Trump due to mishandling of the long-controversial Epstein files. Appearing on “Jesse Watters Primetime” Thursday night, Blanche dismissed the swirling rumors as baseless, insisting that neither the Epstein documents nor any alleged tip-off to a Democratic congressman played any role in Bondi’s abrupt ouster. “I have never heard President Trump say that the attorney general was — that anything that happened to her — had anything to do with the Epstein files,” Blanche declared, pushing back forcefully against reports from outlets including The New York Times and Daily Mail. The firing marked Trump’s second major Cabinet shakeup in just one month, following the reassignment of DHS Secretary Kristi Noem on March 5, and has ignited a firestorm of speculation across Washington.

Blanche, who now steps into Bondi’s role on an interim basis, did not stop at denial—he went on the offensive. He categorically rejected a Daily Mail report claiming Trump believed Bondi tipped off Rep. Eric Swalwell about FBI plans to release files on Chinese spy Christine Fang. “I would not believe that for a second — absolutely, positively not,” Blanche said with conviction. While acknowledging that Bondi and he had overseen the release of Epstein-related documents under the Transparency Act, Blanche made it clear that the Justice Department’s focus must now move forward. “We have made every single congressman, senator available to come and see any document redacted, unredacted,” he explained. “I think that to the extent that the Epstein files was a part of the past year of this Justice Department, it should not be a part of anything going forward.” Despite the firing, Blanche praised Bondi as a “Great American Patriot” and “loyal friend,” adding, “We are a better Justice Department, we are safer as a nation, and we should all be very grateful to her.” President Trump, in a Truth Social post, confirmed Bondi will transition to the private sector while calling Blanche a “respected Legal Mind.” With the interim AG now at the helm, the nation watches closely—but Blanche’s message was crystal clear: the rumors are fiction, and the Epstein chapter is closed.
