‘A FORCE NEVER SEEN BEFORE’: TRUMP ISSUES FIERY WARNING AS IRAN VOWS RETALIATION FOLLOWING KHAMENEI’S DEATH

President Donald Trump issued a stark warning to Iran early Sunday, threatening unprecedented military force if Tehran follows through with retaliation threats following the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in joint US-Israeli strikes. “Iran just stated that they are going to hit very hard today, harder than they have ever been hit before,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “THEY BETTER NOT DO THAT, HOWEVER, BECAUSE IF THEY DO, WE WILL HIT THEM WITH A FORCE THAT HAS NEVER BEEN SEEN BEFORE!” . The warning came after the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced it would launch what it described as “the most ferocious offensive operation in the history of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s armed forces,” targeting Israeli and American bases across the region.

The dramatic escalation follows Saturday’s massive military operation, dubbed “Operation Epic Fury,” in which US and Israeli forces struck approximately 500 targets across 24 Iranian provinces . Iranian state media has now confirmed that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, 86, was killed in the strikes at his Tehran office, prompting a 40-day national mourning period . Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed there were “growing signs” of Khamenei’s death and called on Iranians to “overthrow the regime,” while urging them that “this is your time to join forces, to secure your future” . Iran has already launched retaliatory missile barrages at Israel and multiple Gulf states housing US military assets, including Bahrain’s Fifth Fleet headquarters and Qatar’s Al Udeid Air Base, as at least eight nations have closed their airspace and global airlines have halted regional flights amid fears of a widening war.
