Over 60 Passengers & Soldiers Feared Dead As US Plane Collides With Army Chopper Near Washington D.C.

More than 60 passengers and crew members are reported dead after an American Airlines regional airplane collided with a military helicopter in Washington D.C. on Wednesday night.
The incident, among the deadliest in American history, took place as a commercial jet attempted to land at Ronald Reagan National Airport, colliding midair with a US Army Black Hawk helicopter.

A total of 64 people, including four crew members, were aboard passenger American Airlines Flight 5342, and three soldiers were on the Army Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk that came from Fort Belvoir in Virginia.
“We are now at a point where we’re switching from a rescue operation to a recovery operation. At this point, we don’t believe there are any survivors from this accident,” John Donnelly, Washington’s fire chief said while addressing a presser.
President Donald Trump on Thursday said everyone on board died.
“There are no survivors,” Trump said. “This was a dark and excruciating night in our nation’s capital and our nation’s history.”
May the Lord comfort the family of the victims of the American Airlines Plane Crash.
