American Idol alum and Christian singer-songwriter Rachel Hale is set to debut her powerful new single, “Louder,” at the NCAA StaffDNA Cure Bowl on December 20, 2024. The song, co-written with Grammy-nominated Jamie Floyd and hitmaker Jimmy Thow, is a stirring anthem dedicated to cancer survivors and their loved ones. Produced by Grammy winner Jonathon Crone, “Louder” carries an emotional depth reminiscent of Hale’s previous fan-favorites like “Promised Land” and “Just Breathe.” The performance, airing during the first-quarter break on ABC and ESPN, will feature cancer survivors joining Hale on the field, amplifying the song’s message of resilience and hope. Proceeds from the single will directly benefit the Cure Bowl, which has raised $3.88 million for cancer research since its inception.

Ahead of the debut, Hale will perform “God Bless America” to mark the Cure Bowl’s 10th anniversary and its remarkable impact on advancing cancer research, including $1.5 million awarded to UCF’s College of Medicine. Fans attending the event can also visit Hale’s “Hale on Wheels” at FanFest, where she’ll share Christmas cheer with her signature paleo Santa Reindoodle cookies and curated holiday shopping featuring brands like Kendra Scott and Jenna Alexander. Reflecting on the event’s significance, Hale shared, “This is more than a performance—it’s a celebration of life, a tribute to those fighting cancer, and an opportunity to give back. ‘Louder’ is my prayer for hope and healing for all those touched by cancer, including my own family.” With her heartfelt anthem and dedication to the cause, Hale’s performance promises to leave a lasting impression on viewers and fans alike.
