The general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye is set to be awarded with the honorary degrees of the Ekiti State University.
EKSU university is set to honor the clergyman during the institution’s 28th Convocation ceremony.
According to Professor Edward Olanipekun, the Vice Chancellor of the institution, he revealed Pastor Adeboye will be conferred with a Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa), while one of the richest women in Nigeria, Folorunso Alakija will also be awarded with the Doctor of Business Administration (Honoris Causa).
The vice chancellor also stated that over 10,000 students would be graduating from the University, as some will be awarded the Diploma, First Degree, Postgraduate Diploma and Higher Degrees.
“The breakdown of the graduands shows that a total of 91 bagged First Class, 3262 for Second Class Upper Division, 6411 for Second Class Lower Division, 747 for Third Class and 4 for Pass,” he said.
