Every Name, Every Praise: Min. Adeoluwa’s ‘The Names of God’ EP Is a Scripture-Soaked Celebration of the Almighty

Gospel music minister Min. Adeoluwa has released his new five-track EP, The Names of God, a musical expression of worship, praise, prayer, and thanksgiving that reflects on God’s nature, power, faithfulness, and presence through difficult seasons. Known for his Scripture-based music, Adeoluwa continues to draw from the Word of God, this time exploring the different ways believers acknowledge and call upon Him. Each track offers a distinct expression of faith, giving the EP a blend of sounds and expressions while keeping the message consistent. The project opens with “Alpha and Omega,” featuring Brenique Adams, a worship song drawn from Revelation 1:8 that declares God as the beginning and the end, the One who was, who is, and who is to come. It sets the tone for the EP before moving into “Glorious God,” a song that celebrates God’s majesty and greatness.

From there, the mood shifts into prayer with “4th Man in the Fire,” inspired by the biblical account of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. The song calls upon the same God who stood with the three Hebrew men in the furnace, acknowledging His ability to show up in life’s most difficult moments, with Ms. Debola featuring on the track offering a spoken prayer that adds to its message of faith and dependence on God. Then comes “Adonai,” where Adeoluwa returns to his Nigerian roots with a high-energy gyration song, bringing together Yoruba, Igbo, and Hausa—the three major indigenous languages in Nigeria—to call God by His names in these languages, creating a lively atmosphere of praise. Interestingly, Adeoluwa chooses to end the EP with “Ore Jésù Se,” featuring Evangelist Ojo Ade, a Yoruba thanksgiving song whose placement carries a deliberate message: having spent the previous songs declaring God as Alpha and Omega, Glorious God, the Fourth Man in the Fire, and Adonai, he brings everything to a close by simply thanking Him for all He has done. The EP arrives in a year that has seen Adeoluwa make significant strides on the Official UK Christian & Gospel Singles Chart, with “THIS GOD” spending three consecutive weeks at No. 1, “Psalm 91” also topping the chart, and his collaboration with Ms. Debola, “SOG (Song of Gratitude),” reaching the No. 1 spot. With The Names of God, Adeoluwa brings together his love for Scripture, worship, and his Nigerian musical heritage in one project, and beyond the different sounds and styles, the message remains simple: God is worthy of every name of praise, every declaration of faith, and every expression of thanksgiving. The EP is available now on digital streaming platforms.
