“For My Good” is a declarative song that illuminates the revelation of the intrinsic goodness of God – how everything Christ went through, from His death and burial to His resurrection, holds profound significance for the position, identity and experience of believers. This understanding assures us that regardless of whatever challenges may arise, our experience will be rooted in the goodness of God. Even our mistakes and the schemes of the enemy are orchestrated to ultimately work together for the benefit of the believer.
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. (Romans 8:28)
