
Pillar, the acclaimed Christian rock band, is set to release a documentary titled “Pillar: Beyond the Frontline” on October 12, 2025, offering fans a glimpse into the band’s remarkable journey. Directed by Kaden Wittig, son of the band’s founding member and bassist Michael “Kalel” Wittig, the film showcases the band’s history, struggles, and triumphs. Having grown up with the band, Kaden brings an intimate perspective to the documentary, weaving together the band’s story with their music and ministry.

The documentary explores Pillar’s enduring message of hope, which has inspired fans for over 25 years. With nine studio albums, three EPs, and numerous awards, including GMA Dove Awards, Pillar has established itself as a leading act in Christian rock. The band’s core lineup, featuring Rob Beckley, Michael “Kalel” Wittig, Noah Henson, and Lester Estelle Jr., shares untold stories from their journey, highlighting the impact of their music on fans’ lives.
