Two-time GRAMMY Nominee Blessing Offor has released the title track for his highly anticipated album “Real,” set to drop on August 8th. The song, co-written with Hank Bentley, is a heartfelt tribute to genuine love and authenticity, featuring Blessing’s soulful vocals accompanied by light guitar and piano. According to Blessing, “Real” is about that person who stands out in a world of superficiality, someone who is unapologetically themselves, making everything around them seem dull in comparison.
The album “Real” marks a new chapter in Blessing’s musical journey, following the success of his GRAMMY-nominated debut album “My Tribe” in 2023. The 16 tracks on “Real” showcase Blessing’s growth as an artist, exploring themes of loss, heartache, and self-discovery while infusing diverse influences from folk and afro-pop to country, pop, and soul.
