The project gained momentum in June 2022, solidifying its roster of writers and actors, many of whom had collaborated on the Netflix series Beef. Despite delays in production due to Hollywood’s labor strikes, the film wrapped shooting in June 2024 in Georgia and Utah. Set for release on May 2, 2025, Thunderbolts will close out Phase Five of the MCU, offering fans an audacious mix of action, depth, and internal conflict that promises to leave an indelible mark on the Marvel legacy.
