Lifeway’s New CSB Grace Bible for Kids Makes Scripture Accessible to Children with Dyslexia

2views

“Dyslexia shouldn’t keep kids from reading the Bible. At its core, the CSB (Christian Standard Bible) Grace Bible for Kids is meeting the need of helping young readers interact and connect with God in a personal way through His Word,” said Lifeway President Ben Mandrell

In an inspiring step toward inclusivity, Lifeway Christian Resources has launched the CSB Grace Bible for Kids, a Bible designed specifically for children with dyslexia. This groundbreaking release tackles a significant barrier to biblical literacy, as 15-20% of the population struggles with language-based learning disabilities.

Lifeway Launches First-Ever Bible to Help Kids with Dyslexia Connect with Scripture

The Bible features a specially crafted typeface, developed in collaboration with Cambridge University, which enhances readability. By integrating space adjustments and bold letterforms, children with dyslexia can now engage with Scripture without visual strain. Beyond its design, this Bible incorporates study tools and spiritual guidance to foster a deeper connection with God.

Klaus Krogh, founder of 2K/DENMARK, spearheaded the typeface’s development, ensuring that no child is left out of the spiritual experience. The forthcoming versions for teens and adults reflect a commitment to broadening access for all ages. As Lifeway President Ben Mandrell states, “Dyslexia shouldn’t keep kids from reading the Bible.”

By bridging the gap between learning challenges and faith, this new Bible offers hope and a chance for spiritual growth to children who need it most.
