Pastor Andy Osakwe has issued a strong caution to DJs who play at Christian gatherings, urging them to refrain from mixing secular songs with gospel music during church events.

Speaking during a recent meeting with youth leaders, he emphasized that Christian programs are sacred spaces dedicated to worship, edification, and spiritual alignment not entertainment that blends conflicting messages.

According to him, many believers attend church events seeking an atmosphere that strengthens their faith, but the introduction of secular tracks can dilute the spiritual tone and shift the focus away from God.

He noted that while some DJs include gospel songs in their playlists, it does not automatically mean they understand the spiritual atmosphere required in Christian settings.

Pastor Andy also encouraged event coordinators and church leaders to be more intentional in selecting DJs who are spiritually grounded and sensitive to the purpose of the gathering.

His remarks have sparked conversations among young Christians and church music teams on the importance of maintaining a consistent spiritual environment during worship programs, conferences, weddings, and other church-related events.
