The iconic Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Spain, is on the cusp of a historic milestone – becoming Europe’s tallest Christian church. With its central tower dedicated to Jesus Christ nearing completion, this majestic basilica is set to surpass Germany’s Ulmer Münster, currently standing at 162 meters. The Sagrada Familia’s central tower, expected to be finished by the end of 2025 or early 2026, will reach an impressive height of 172 meters, crowned with a cross and surrounded by five other towers honoring Mary and the four evangelists.
