Renowned worship leader Pastor William McDowell has shared a powerful testimony after surviving a potentially fatal car accident. According to McDowell, the incident occurred when he hit a massive black bear that suddenly ran out of the woods into the road while he was driving home after dropping off his kids at school. Miraculously, he walked away from the accident unscathed, despite his car being totaled. McDowell believes that this was a “demonic attempt” on his life, but he attributes his survival to divine intervention.

A Testament to God’s Protection
McDowell took to Instagram to express his gratitude, citing Psalm 34:7, which says, “The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.” In his post, McDowell wrote, “I cannot be silent anymore. I have to testify because it FAILED!… I know for sure that this was a demonic attempt on my life but IT FAILED! I walked away. Some don’t!” This testimony serves as a reminder of God’s protection and deliverance in times of danger.
A Call to Testify
As a worship leader and pastor, McDowell’s testimony is not just a personal reflection but also a call to testify about God’s goodness and mercy. His experience has strengthened his faith, and he feels compelled to share his story with others. McDowell’s survival is a testament to the power of prayer and God’s intervention in our lives. His story inspires hope and encourages believers to trust in God’s protection and deliverance, even in the face of danger and uncertainty.
