[Music + Video] House of Worship ft. Darlene Zschech & CeCe Winans – Shout To The Lord
House of Worship launches its highly anticipated project with the release of “Shout To The Lord,” a timeless worship anthem reimagined by Dove Award-winning Australian worship pioneer Darlene Zschech and 17-time GRAMMY® Award-winning gospel icon CeCe Winans. The single is available now at digital and streaming outlets worldwide via The Fuel Music.
The song serves as the first release from the groundbreaking House of Worship album, slated to arrive in January 2026. This unprecedented project unites 25 of the world’s most iconic worship artists with today’s leading and emerging voices to reimagine classics that have shaped modern worship for generations. Collectively, these artists hold 48 GRAMMY Awards (138 nominations) and 176 Dove Awards.
Produced by Paul Mabury and John Hartley, the new recording features a stellar lineup of musicians, including Michael W. Smith (piano), Paul Mabury (drums), Dwan Hill (keys), and Stu Garrard (guitar). Originally written by Zschech and first recorded in 1994 with Hillsong Church, “Shout To The Lord” has since become one of the most recognized worship songs globally, sung by millions in countless languages.
Reflecting on the song’s beginnings, Zschech shares:
“‘Shout To The Lord’ was really sung more than written. It came during a time when life’s burdens were heavy, and I sat at my little out-of-tune piano, opened my Bible to Psalm 95 through 100, and worshipped. After about 20 minutes, the song was complete. I had no confidence as a songwriter, but once we sang it in church, it left my life to minister to others.”
CeCe Winans adds:
“‘Shout To The Lord’ is one of those songs that sets our hearts towards God. It reminds us that He is our tower of refuge and strength. Getting to lead this song with Darlene—who has carried it so beautifully for so many years—was a joy and an honor.”
The full House of Worship album, executive produced by Michael W. Smith and Darlene Zschech, was recorded and filmed in-the-round at World Wide Stages (Spring Hill, TN), bringing all 25 artists together in one space. Featuring heartfelt duets of worship anthems that have impacted millions, the project bridges generations with a fresh, inspiring sound.
