A Timeless Worship Anthem Reborn: Darlene Zschech and CeCe Winans Unite

Darlene Zschech, a Dove Award-winning and RIAA Gold-selling Australian worship pioneer, has joined forces with 17-time GRAMMY Award-winning gospel icon CeCe Winans to reimagine the timeless worship classic, “Shout To The Lord”. This powerful song, originally written and recorded by Zschech in 1994 with Hillsong Church, has been re-recorded hundreds of times by worship leaders and artists worldwide. The new version, featuring Michael W. Smith on piano, is the lead single from the upcoming House of Worship album, set to release in January 2026.

A Groundbreaking Collaboration
The House of Worship project brings together 25 iconic worship artists, including Brenton Brown, Chris Brown, and Kari Jobe, to reimagine classics that have impacted millions worldwide. This groundbreaking album, executive produced by Smith and Zschech, was recorded and filmed in-the-round with all 25 artists in the same room, creating a fresh and inspiring expression that bridges generations and celebrates the enduring power of worship music. With a combined total of 48 GRAMMY Awards and 176 Dove Awards, this collaboration promises to be a game-changer in the world of Christian music.
A Message of Hope and Worship
“Shout To The Lord” is more than just a song; it’s a declaration of faith and worship. As Zschech reflects on the song’s origins, she shares that it was born out of a time of heavy burdens, and she sat at her piano, worshipping and singing from Psalm 95 to Psalm 100. Winans echoes this sentiment, saying that the song reminds us to trust in God, our “tower of refuge and strength”. This anthem continues to inspire and uplift listeners, setting their hearts towards God and fostering a deeper connection with their faith.
