Breathing Life into Worship: Matt Redman’s ‘Life & Breath’

Matt Redman, a renowned worship leader and songwriter, is set to release his highly anticipated album “Life & Breath” on October 3rd. This album marks a new direction for Redman, as it’s his first “live-studio” recording, blending the intimacy of a studio setting with the energy of live worship. The first single, “Let Me See Jesus / Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus,” featuring Charity Gayle, showcases Redman’s passion for creating music that honors God and inspires the church.

A Return to the Sacred Essence of Worship
“Life & Breath” represents a return to the core foundations of faith, emphasizing reverence, prayer, and repentance. The album features a star-studded lineup, including Joe L Barnes, CalledOut Music, and Quintin Trotter. Redman’s goal was to capture the heartfelt energy of congregational worship in a studio setting, and he achieved this by inviting the Lipscomb University Gospel Choir to join him in Nashville. With “Life & Breath,” Redman invites listeners to experience the joy and reverence of worship, merging theological depth with accessibility.
