Faith in Action: Pastor Godman Akinlabi Donates ₦100 Million to Empower Missionaries

Pastor Godman Akinlabi, Global Lead Pastor of The Elevation Church, has made a significant contribution to the church’s missionary initiative, donating ₦100 million to support Life Mission. This initiative aims to empower over 100 recent Nigerian graduates to embark on a six-month missionary deployment to northern Uganda. The team will be living with and ministering to thousands of displaced South Sudanese people, sharing the Gospel, teaching vital skills, and providing practical training.

According to Pastor Akinlabi, the donation is a demonstration of the church’s commitment to missions and its desire to see lives changed and souls won for Christ. “For us, giving isn’t about what we get in return. It’s simply about seeing lives changed and souls won for Christ,” he stated. The Life Mission initiative is the church’s largest single contribution to missions work yet, and it reflects the church’s passion for spreading the Gospel and serving humanity.
The missionaries will be discipling the refugees deeply in God’s Word, providing hope and transformation to those in need. Pastor Akinlabi’s donation is a testament to his dedication to faith-based initiatives, as evident in his recent launch of the Godman Akinlabi Enterprise Development Fund, which provides seed funding and mentorship to faith-driven entrepreneurs.
