The White House is set to commemorate the nation’s 249th birthday with a grand celebration, featuring military flyovers and a special visit from the B-2 pilots who successfully flew a mission into Iran. President Trump has invited the pilots who bombed Iran’s nuclear facilities to his residence, where they will be honored for their bravery and skill. The event will also showcase the might of America’s Air Force, with a flyover featuring state-of-the-art F-22s, B-2s, and F-35s.

The B-2 pilots, who were critical to “Operation Midnight Hammer,” will be recognized for their role in carrying out a high-risk, long-range strike on Iranian nuclear sites. However, it’s unclear whether the pilots will be identified publicly due to concerns about potential risks to their safety. Military officials have briefed them on the risks and vulnerabilities of revealing their identity.
The celebration will also feature musical performances from gospel, pop, country, R&B, and classical artists at the annual “A Capitol Fourth” event, which will be aired live on PBS. Alfonso Ribeiro will return to host the event, which will precede the nighttime D.C. fireworks. President Trump is expected to deliver remarks during the celebration, highlighting the nation’s strength and resilience.
