The company’s official corporate purpose is to “glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us” and to “have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A.” This commitment to its values is reflected in its decision to close on Sundays, a practice that has been in place since 1946. Despite the potential loss of revenue, Chick-fil-A’s customers have remained loyal, drawn to the company’s trademark hospitality and friendly service.
