Tragic Loss: Associate Pastor Dies in Hit-and-Run Motorcycle Crash

The Rock Faith Center in El Paso, Texas, is mourning the loss of Associate Pastor Jason Owens, who tragically died in a hit-and-run motorcycle crash. Owens, 49, was struck by a Mercedes whose driver failed to stop at a sign. The driver has not yet been identified, and the investigation remains ongoing. In a heartfelt statement, church leaders described Owens as “a cherished friend and a vital part of our church family,” highlighting his unwavering faith, compassion, and love for the Lord.

Owens was deeply involved in mentoring youth, working with Child Protective Services, and supporting the military community near Fort Bliss. He was known not only for his ministry but also for his love of motorcycles and his Philadelphia Eagles fandom. The church honored his legacy by quoting 2 Timothy 4:7: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” His impact on the lives of those he encountered will be deeply missed.
