Newsboys Embark on a New Era with ‘Worldwide Revival (Deluxe)
The Newsboys have released their highly anticipated album, “Worldwide Revival (Deluxe),” which dropped on May 30. Lead vocalist Adam Agee describes the journey to this album as unexpected, evolving from a two-part rollout into something bigger and more personal. The deluxe version includes original songs from Part One, as well as new tracks that give listeners a glimpse into the future of the band.
A New Chapter Unfolds
The album features four new tracks, including “Fortress,” a scripture-fueled anthem inspired by Psalm 91, and “New Name,” along with two stirring covers of worship favorites, “Death Was Arrested” and “God of Promises.” The band is excited to move forward, with drummer Duncan Phillips noting that completing the project feels like a nice way to close that chapter. With 10 million units sold and 33 No. 1 radio hits, the Newsboys are kicking off a new era with plenty of empty pages still to be filled.
