Terrian’s Journey of Faith and Music
Growing up as a pastor’s kid, Terrian was surrounded by music and faith from a young age. She recalls learning valuable lessons from observing her family’s devotion to their faith. A guest preacher’s words, “Your singing of worship is your weapon,” resonated deeply with her, and she knew she was destined for a career in music. After being inspired by Hillsong UNITED’s “Oceans,” Terrian dedicated herself to creating music that would shine a light on her faith and Savior.
A Leap of Faith and Surrender
Terrian’s journey wasn’t without its challenges. After auditioning for “American Idol” in 2016, she faced rejection, which led her to question God’s will for her life. However, in a moment of surrender, she prayed and trusted in God’s plan. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of a new chapter in her life. Terrian joined TobyMac’s Diverse City band in 2017 and was signed to Gotee Records, eventually pursuing a solo career that honors God through music.

Today, Terrian’s music is a testament to God’s redemption and faithfulness. With nominations for “New Artist of the Year” at the 2024 Dove Awards and “Female Artist of the Year” at the 2025 K-LOVE Fan Awards, she’s making waves in the music industry.
