Evil in Our Backyard: Tim Tebow and Shawn Ryan Expose the Shocking Reality of Child Exploitation in America

73views

“When the darkness is this close to home, silence is no longer an option.”

In a gripping and deeply unsettling conversation on the Shawn Ryan Show, former NFL star and humanitarian Tim Tebow laid bare the horrifying truth about child exploitation in the United States—a crisis far more pervasive, and far closer to home, than many would dare to imagine.

Tim Tebow Shines Light on the Heartbreaking Truth of Child Exploitation in the U.S.

With a haunting digital map of the U.S. glowing behind them, Tebow and Ryan revealed a landscape marred by red dots—each representing a unique IP address linked to the downloading, sharing, or distributing of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in the last 30 days alone. The staggering number? Over 111,000.

“Every red dot is at least one person consuming the rape and abuse of children under 12,” Tebow said, his voice heavy with grief. The eastern U.S. appeared nearly smothered in crimson—a visual testament to an epidemic hiding in plain sight.

The Face of the Offenders

Tebow, whose foundation has been at the forefront of rescuing exploited children, delivered another gut punch: biological fathers are the most common perpetrators.

“Middle-aged, Caucasian men, many of them college-educated, many with good jobs,” he revealed. These are not shadowy strangers in back alleys—they are fathers, neighbors, colleagues. And the abuse doesn’t stop online. 55-85% of these offenders are also hands-on abusers, with each predator victimizing an average of 13 children.

America’s Darkest Export

The horrors don’t end there. Tebow disclosed that the U.S. is the world’s top payer for livestreamed child rape, outpacing all other nations in demand for this unspeakable evil. In peer-to-peer sharing, America ranks third—behind only China and Russia.

A Call to Arms: The Renewed Hope Act

But amid the darkness, Tebow offered a lifeline: The Renewed Hope Act, a bill that would dramatically expand resources to combat exploitation. Currently, there are only seven victim identification officers nationwide. This legislation would increase that number to 200, while also deploying specialized investigators and advanced training for law enforcement.

“This isn’t about politics,” Tebow insisted. “It’s about protecting kids. And together, we can do something about it.”

Shawn Ryan, a former Navy SEAL and CIA contractor, echoed the urgency, urging his audience: “If you take anything away from this, please take action. Contact your representatives. Demand this bill passes. It’s time we stand up as protectors and end this evil.”

The Uncomfortable Truth

The conversation was more than an exposé—it was a mirror held up to America. The predators are not just out there. They are in our homes, our churches, our workplaces. And the victims? They are the silenced, the forgotten, the ones counting on us to be their voice.

As Tebow put it: “People say, ‘That’s just over there, in those other countries.’ But Shawn—it’s right here. In our backyard.”

The question now is: What will we do about it?
