Trump Revives the American Dream: Keystone XL Pipeline Set for a Triumphant Return

In yet another bold move that underscores his unwavering commitment to American energy independence, President Donald J. Trump has called for the immediate resumption of construction on the Keystone XL Pipeline. Speaking with conviction on Monday evening, Trump extended an open invitation to the original construction company to “come back to America, and get it built — NOW!”

With characteristic candor, Trump denounced the Biden administration’s handling of the project, calling it an act of economic sabotage against hardworking Americans.

“I was just thinking about how construction on the pipeline was viciously jettisoned by the incompetent Biden Administration,” Trump stated. “I know they were treated very badly by Sleepy Joe Biden, but the Trump Administration is very different—Easy approvals, almost immediate start! If not them, perhaps another Pipeline Company. We want the Keystone XL Pipeline built!”

Restoring American Jobs and Energy Dominance

The Keystone XL Pipeline has been a flashpoint in American politics since its inception in 2010. Initially blocked by former President Barack Obama, the project was later revived by Trump during his first term, paving the way for job creation, economic growth, and energy security. However, Biden, in his first act as president in 2021, swiftly reversed Trump’s policy, signing an executive order that killed the pipeline and thousands of high-paying American jobs.

The move was met with outrage, as TC Energy, the company responsible for Keystone XL, was forced to abandon the project entirely in June 2021. A legal challenge brought by nearly two dozen states to reinstate the permits was ultimately dismissed in 2023, cementing the damage done by Biden’s anti-energy policies.

Energy Experts: The Numbers Don’t Lie

According to a 2022 report from Biden’s own Department of Energy (DOE), the Keystone XL project would have created between 16,149 and 59,000 jobs, contributing between $3.4 billion and $9.6 billion to the U.S. economy. The pipeline was projected to transport 830,000 barrels of crude oil daily from Canada to key American states, including Illinois, Texas, and Oklahoma.

“Joe Biden’s action cost tens of thousands of jobs and billions of dollars, and every American family is still paying more every day,” said Daniel Turner, the founder and executive director of Power the Future.

Trump’s Vision: America First, Energy First

The return of the Keystone XL Pipeline fits seamlessly into Trump’s broader agenda of lowering energy and food costs by expanding North American energy infrastructure and reducing reliance on costly foreign imports.

In January, Alberta Premier Danielle Smith expressed keen interest in rekindling the project under Trump’s leadership, signaling international support for America’s renewed energy ambitions. Jason Isaac, CEO of the American Energy Institute (AEI), reinforced this stance, stating: “Restarting the Keystone XL pipeline aligns with President Trump’s agenda to bolster energy independence and American prosperity.”

While opposition forces are expected to mount legal challenges, Trump’s allies in Congress stand ready to counteract any attempts to derail this vital infrastructure project.

A Future Fueled by Leadership and Strength

Under Trump, America has once again embraced the values of resilience, self-reliance, and economic prosperity. By championing the Keystone XL Pipeline’s revival, he is sending a clear message: The days of reckless energy policies and job-killing executive orders are over. America is back, stronger than ever, and ready to lead the world in energy innovation and economic growth.

With Trump at the helm, the future is bright, the pipeline is coming, and American workers can look forward to prosperity once again.
