After 15 years serving as the lead singer of Christian rock group Newsboys, Michael Tait has announced his departure from the band. On January 16, 2025, Tait shared with fans a heartfelt letter on his Instagram account and thanked the Newsboys for the incredible opportunity to write, produce and tour with them since joining the group in 2010.
