Greg LaFollette Launches ‘Always and Everywhere’: Worship Music Tailored for the Youngest Disciples

Greg LaFollette, an acclaimed worship leader and songwriter, has unveiled his latest project, Always and Everywhere, a groundbreaking worship initiative designed specifically for children. Officially launched with the release of Volume One on January 17, 2025, the project was inspired by LaFollette’s ministry at Christ Church Anglican in Kansas City, where children make up one-third of the congregation. Reflecting on the project’s mission, LaFollette explained, “Mr. Rogers would always kneel to a child’s eye level to let them know they were truly seen. As leaders, we can learn a lot from that. Always and Everywhere is my effort to emulate Fred Rogers as he emulated Jesus.” This heartwarming and intentional approach ensures that the music resonates deeply with young followers of Christ, meeting them wherever they are on their faith journey.

Musically, Always and Everywhere Volume One blends LaFollette’s signature rootsy style with vibrant pop influences, catchy hooks, and upbeat tempos, creating a sound that is both worshipful and irresistibly fun. From danceable beats to the joyous energy of a New Orleans brass band, the album offers a fresh take on liturgical worship music, reminiscent of early Taylor Swift with a liturgical twist. This release follows the success of LaFollette’s Liturgical Songs Volume One and his hit Psalm 136 (Your Mercy Endures), which topped the iTunes New Zealand Christian & Gospel Chart. With over 8 million Spotify streams to his name, LaFollette aims to extend the impact of Always and Everywhere, bringing worship and joy to children across the globe.
