5views

Christian music powerhouse and five-time GRAMMY-nominated artist Matthew West has once again used his platform to make a difference, this time through the “Give A Gobble” campaign in partnership with Mercy Chefs. Launched through his ministry, popwe, the campaign set out to provide meals for those devastated by Hurricane Helene in North Carolina. What began with a goal of $25,000 has soared to over $44,000 in less than a week, funding more than 12,000 chef-prepared meals. The campaign, inspired by West’s viral holiday hit “Gobble Gobble,” is extending its reach through Giving Tuesday (12/3), allowing even more people to benefit from the generosity of supporters nationwide. This effort exemplifies popwe’s mission of going beyond music to share Jesus’ redemptive power through acts of kindness, prayer, and giving.

While “Give A Gobble” serves as a beacon of hope this season, West’s track “Gobble Gobble” continues to captivate audiences on social media. Four years after its release, the song has taken on new life with viral reels, TikTok challenges, and over 3.6 million views in November alone. Teachers, families, and fans alike have embraced its playful charm, creating content that celebrates both the humor and heart of the Thanksgiving season. West’s ability to merge his musical talents with community impact has solidified his role as not just a celebrated artist, but also a champion for those in need.

West’s holiday season is packed with opportunities to connect with fans and share his message of faith and hope. He will host his Come Home For Christmas weekend from Dec. 5–Dec. 8 in Franklin, Tennessee, featuring worship, festivities, and the highly anticipated Franklin Christmas Tree Lighting, where he’ll serve as host and headliner. From there, he’ll take the magic of Christmas on the road with a series of concerts in Florida and continue spreading the message of his recent album “Don’t Stop Praying” and book “Come Home For Christmas.” Whether through meals for hurricane victims or music that inspires millions, Matthew West’s season of giving is a true reflection of the spirit of Christmas.
