Gospel music icons Ernie Haase & Signature Sound capped off their highly anticipated album release day, October 4, with a resounding victory at the 55th Annual Dove Awards. The group took home their seventh career Dove Award for Southern Gospel Album of the Year for Live In Amsterdam: A 20th Anniversary Celebration. This milestone project, produced by Wayne Haun, commemorates two decades of music and ministry, featuring 10 fan favorites recorded live in Amsterdam.
“This Dove win is a wonderful surprise,” shares Ernie Haase. “Live In Amsterdam reflects God’s faithfulness to us and through us.” Haase’s gratitude is palpable, especially after the pandemic renewed his appreciation for every performance. “Every night in front of an audience is sacred to us.” The Dove win coincided with the release of their latest album, Live In Memphis, showcasing the rich history of American quartet singing.
Live In Memphis, featuring guest appearances by Scott Fowler, Paul Harkey, the Blackwood Brothers, and Duane Allen, highlights timeless tunes from Broadway, Gospel, and the Great American Songbook. “This project reflects the energy and excitement we bring to concert,” Haase explains.
