With accolades such as the Independent Music Award for Contemporary Christian Album of the Year (2020) and a Josie Award (2021), Hixson’s impact transcends worship services. His YouTube channel, which has garnered over 60 million views, is a testament to his widespread influence. Hixson’s love for music took root in Dawson, Texas, where he and his twin sister would sing Top 40 hits in their childhood.
