Gospel Musicians & Loved Ones Bid Farewell As Ghanaian Artiste KODA Is Laid To Rest

Ghana gospel music community gathered to mourn gospel music artiste and song writer Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, popularly known as Koda, at his burial service held in Accra.

You would recall that the singer sadly passed away, having suffered with from kidney disease.

His burial ceremony was such an emotion one, as artists, family members, and friends came together to honour the legacy of the celebrated musician and producer.

In attendance were gospel stars including; Joe Mettle, Nii Okai, Eugene Zuta, Sonnie Badu, Nacee, Diana Hamilton and others to pay their final respects to the late singer.

Koda was also the music director and instrumentalist of the “Music Wing of Baptist Students Union“, “KNUST’s Simply Jazz Crew“, “God’s Instruments” and a leading member of “Da Project.”

In 2021, KODA released Keteke, his 6th vocal album. As a music tutor, he released two instructional DVDs on bass and lead guitar and three live DVDs of his major concerts. Koda’s legacy lives on as he is survived by his children, amongst others.
