Florida churches, in particular, are capitalizing on a Supreme Court ruling that allows K-12 students to use state-funded vouchers for private, religious schools. Faith Family Community Church in Florida has launched Winter Garden Christian Academy, joining several others that are using these vouchers to provide biblical education. This trend mirrors what’s happening across the country in states like Ohio and West Virginia, where new voucher programs have been introduced. Despite the rising popularity of church-affiliated schools, critics argue these programs undermine public education by diverting taxpayer funds.
