On September 6, 2024, GRAMMY®-nominated and multi-award-winning gospel powerhouse Jekalyn Carr released her latest project, Jekalyn Carr Presents…The Inspiration Project, a groundbreaking collaborative album that highlights her talent beyond the microphone. As both A&R and Executive Producer, Carr has masterfully crafted a six-song collection designed to introduce new gospel voices to the world, all while showcasing her own brilliance as a singer/songwriter and producer.
Featuring a diverse lineup of rising artists—Emoni Wilkins, Jericho Worship, Timothy Rogers, Ashley Charisse Mackey, and JD Fomby—The Inspiration Project offers a vibrant mix of gospel styles. This new venture, co-produced by Jekalyn and her father Allen Carr, serves as a launchpad for these gifted artists, positioning them in the spotlight of gospel music. The project also includes a fresh unplugged version of Carr’s own hit single, “You Carried Me,” further underscoring her musical prowess.
