On August 23, 2024, GRAMMY-winning musician John Beasley will release his Candid Records label debut, “John Beasley/Returning to Forever” with the Frankfurt Radio Big Band. This ambitious project is a reimagining of the iconic fusion band Return to Forever’s music, led by Chick Corea and Stanley Clarke. Beasley’s connection to the band’s music runs deep, having toured with Clarke and worked with Corea in the 90s. Before starting the project, Beasley sought Corea’s blessing and was even given access to the legendary musician’s original handwritten charts.
