Melvin Crispell, III made history with his first-ever Stellar Awards wins, taking home Male Artist of the Year and Traditional Male Artist of the Year for his sophomore album No Failure. Kierra Sheard won Contemporary Female Artist of the Year for her latest album All Yours, while Donald Lawrence won Special Event Album of the Year for his project Donald Lawrence Presents Power: A Tribute to Twinkie Clark.
