American Christian singer, Jeremy Camp has undergone a successful surgery on Monday, in treatment to an irregular heartbeat.
The Grammy-nominated and Dove Award-winning artist had posted a video of him seeking prayers from friends and loved ones, as he underwent his surgery.
On Monday, Adrienne Camp, the wife of the singer, posted a message on his social media account and said the surgery was a success.
“Just wanted to give you an update on Jeremy… He’s resting and has to lay completely flat for a while,” she wrote. “He’s enjoying being spoon fed by me. Lol! Surgery was a success but it’ll take a few months to fully heal.
“We are beyond grateful for how you guys have cared for us in prayer. Also, so grateful for an incredible Dr and staff. ‘My strength and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.’ Ps 73:26.”
Friends and family have expressed their gratitude to God on behalf of the singer.
Pastor Greg Laurie among many others said; “Answered prayer!”
Jonathan Traylor wrote, “Love you guys! Praying for good rest and speedy recovery!”
