Arizona Pastor Miraculously Recovering After Being Shot In Head While Preaching On The Street
A pastor who was shot at the back of his head while spreading the gospel in Arizona, USA, has miraculously recovered after being admitted to the hospital.
The pastor, Hans Schmidt, was said to have been promoting the gospel, when he was shut from behind, in November. Although the police are yet to figure out where the shooting came from, a traffic footage from the November 15 shooting shows a white Nissan crossover near Schmidt as well as other cars, but police have said they aren’t sure if the shooter was inside the car or not.
While still in a critical condition, his wife shared a picture of herself, with the husband and children, that he was now awake.
“In the blink of an eye, our lives were changed. You are a living miracle,” said his wife, Zulya Schmidt. “Every day, I am amazed seeing you hold our baby boy again. Waving at our baby girl. You have a long way to go, but God will carry us through.”
According to the victim’s father, he revealed that the 26-year-old has been moved into a long-term facility in the hospital for recovery.
“Hopefully, he keeps trending positively the way it’s been going because he’s still in a delicate condition,” he said.
In a recent interview with CBN, His wife Zulya expressed her utmost gratitude to everyone for their love and outpouring of prayers for Hans Schmidt.
“That’s the only way I can explain it. There have been moments where I’m like, how am I this okay? I even feel guilty for not crying,” she said. “I know God has a plan in all of this because there is no other way to explain it.”
